FOX RACEWAY MOTOCROSS NATIONAL 2025 RESULTS – UPDATED
PRO MOTOCROSS CHAMPIONSHIP QUALIFYING AND RACE RESULTS FROM PALA, CALIFORNIA
Eli Tomac, Jett Lawrence, Jason Anderson, Jeremy Martin, Jorge Prado… they’re all back in the saddle for one of the biggest comeback races we’ve seen. The gate is stacked for the start of the 2025 Pro Motocross Nationals at Fox Raceway in Pala, California.

OVERALL RESULTS – 450 CLASS
The last race of the day was the race everyone hoped to see. Eli Tomac and Jett Lawrence went toe-to-toe in the second moto of the 450 class. Lawrence led the way with Tomac nipping at the heels of the factory Honda throughout most of the moto. Tomac’s fourth-place finish in the opening moto meant that this battle wasn’t for the overall, but it was the first time the two have been able to battle each other outdoors.

Despite being a split second off each other for several laps, and Eli pulling alongside the #18, Jett never gave up the lead (and has never given up the lead at Fox Raceway). Lawrence took the checkers for what was clearly a very emotional triumph.
“The highs and the lows and all the negative stuff that’s been thrown at us… you can’t budge me. That’s it,” Lawrence said from the podium.
Behind them Hunter Lawrence and Aaron Plessinger were engaged in another fierce battle that had SoCal fans going wild. Hunter went off the track on the last lap allowing Plessinger to gain the advantage. Hunter still held on to take third overall on the day while Plessinger carded fourth with a 5-3. Justin Cooper rounded out the top-five with a 2-8.

Defending champion Chase Sexton has his season off to a rough start. The Red Bull KTM rider took a DNF in the first moto after crashing and not lining up for the second moto. Cooper Webb also had some hard luck at Pala, retiring from the first moto with a mechanical issue. He returned for the second moto where he finished seventh, only good enough for 13th overall with a 37-7 score.

OVERALL RESULTS – 250 CLASS
It comes as little surprise that the defending champion exerted his dominance at the opening round of the AMA Pro Motocross Championship. Star Yamaha’s Haiden Deegan made quick work of the field to take a solid 1-1 victory in the 250MX class at Fox Raceway, repeating his performance from last year at his home track in Pala, California.
Dueling KTM teammates Tom Vialle and Julien Beaumer made a solid effort to run away with the two top spots in the first moto, but less than halfway into the 30-minute-plus-two-lap Deegan dropped the hammer and worked his way from a third-place start into the lead. Deegan repeated his performance in the second moto for a flawless victory at what he calls his favorite track.
Factory Honda’s Jo Shimoda worked his way into second both times out and collected second overall ahead of Tom Vialle who put his Red Bull KTM on the overall podium with a 4-3 finish.
